Am Thai and Purple Yam Earn Spots in Zagat and Michelin

A couple of neighborhood favorites are getting more and more recognition from foodie heavyweights Zagat and Michelin.

Church Avenue’s Am Thai Bistro made Zagat in the midst of a record Brooklyn surge — 250 borough restaurants landed on the Zagat list. Cortelyou Road’s Purple Yam took a spot on Michelin’s “Best Value Eateries.” For those hungry readers, that’s a Purple Yam burger pictured above.

Mimi’s Hummus, The Farm on Adderley, Picket Fence, The Castello Plan and Di Fara also made the lists.
