Air Quality Advisory Is In Effect All Of Today In NYC

Beware high ozone levels.

There’s a heaviness in the air today in spite of the gorgeous sunniness all around us. That’s why the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for the five boroughs.

From 10am to 10pm tonight, “active children and adults, and people with respiratory problems, such as asthma, should reduce prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors,” according to the warning.
