After School Snacking: Peanut Butter & Nutella Banana Bites

We go through a lot of bananas in our house. They’re portable, easy to eat, sweet, and healthy – what’s not to love? Sometimes, though, the day calls for more than just a peel-and-go banana. Sometimes, you deserve something special. Those somethings are peanut butter and Nutella banana bites.

“But that’s just cut up bananas with peanut butter and Nutella on top.” Exactly – simplicity at its finest.

The great thing is that they look pretty impressive, so your kids will think you’re one of those fancy Pinterest parents when you present these beauties after school.

Slice up a banana. Make sure the chunks aren’t too skinny – you’ll want the piece to be large enough to support the toppings.

If you have a piping bag, squeeze Nutella on top of the banana chunks. If you don’t have a piping bag, don’t sweat it. Cut off the corner of a baggie and make your own, or just slather the Nutella on with a spoon or knife. The kids will never know the difference.

Add a layer of peanut butter on top of the Nutella, and enjoy!
