Afropunk After-Dark Includes Dancing, Spoken Word, And More In Fort Greene And Clinton Hill
Afropunk-After-Dark-II

We already know the lineup for the 2015 Afropunk Festival in Fort Greene’s Commodore Barry Park (Navy Street, between Park and Flushing Avenues) includes the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Lauryn Hill, Grace Jones, Danny Brown, Thundercat, and Gary Clark Jr.. Now we also know the Afropunk After-Dark lineup promises to be just as fun.

The annual post-10pm festivities include a series of after-parties at Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, and Bed-Stuy businesses such as Brooklyn Tap House, Putnam’s Pub & Cooker, Myrtle + Gold, Splitty, Do or Dine, Friends and Lovers, and Beast of Bourbon.

“[We] will take over select venues and transform the neighborhood of Fort Greene into a captivating playground of music, art, comedy, entertainment and culture,” notes Afropunk organizers on their website. “With intimate popup performances, celebrity DJ sets, comedy shows, film screenings, art installations, Story Slams, and drink specials, AFROPUNK AFTER DARK is guaranteed to be the perfect nightcap.”
