Looking for a companion who is friendly and energetic? Meet Tank, a pitbull who needs a loving home.

Sean Casey says:

October is Pitbull Awareness month!
Tank is a total mush who is all about loving on people and getting some cuddles. He also likes kids, but he may need a home with older kids as he tends to jump on people in excitement.
He is both housebroken and crate trained and knows a variety of commands. Tank walks well on a leash but becomes preoccupied when he spots another dog. His foster dad is working on his dog reactivity every day, and it is getting better.

You can arrange to meet Tank at the Sean Casey Animal Shelter, located at 153 East 3rd Street, between Fort Hamilton Parkway and Caton Avenue — closest to the F/G to Fort Hamilton Parkway — open daily from 11am to 7pm. For more info, call 347-599-1500. You can also email them at foster@nyanimalrescue.org.
