Meet September, a 1-year-old pocket pittie/boxer mix (she is only 42 pounds). She is very trusting and sweet with all people. She enjoys playing with toys, doing zoomies, and boxes with her front legs but also loves to snuggle on the couch. She has displayed zero food aggression or possessiveness of toys and understands her commands. She walks great and will only pull if she sees a squirrel. She needs to work on her manners with other dogs and would need to be your one and only pet in the home.
You can arrange to meet September at the Sean Casey Animal Shelter, located at 153 East 3rd Street, between Fort Hamilton Parkway and Caton Avenue — closest to the F/G to Fort Hamilton Parkway — open daily from 11am to 7pm.
