Looking for a new companion? Hera has a heart of cotton candy!

Sean Casey says:
Hera is our beautiful 4 year old Cane Corso mix. Hera may be a large girl, but don’t let her looks fool you, she has a heart made of cotton candy. This girl is sugary sweet and great with all humans, big and small.
Hera is a smart cookie who knows her basic commands and she would love to learn more in her forever home. Hera may initially pull on the leash, but that is only because she is excited to be outside, and she settles down to make a lovely walking partner. This brindle beauty does well with most pups, but is not a fan of cats.
Before being rescued, Hera was sadly used by a by a backyard breeder for her puppies. Nothing would make us happier than to see this goddess in her forever home, being showered with nothing but love.

You can arrange to meet Hera at the Sean Casey Animal Shelter, located at 153 E 3rd Street, between Fort Hamilton Parkway and Caton Avenue — a quick trip on the F/G to Fort Hamilton Parkway — open daily from 11am to 7pm. For more info, call 347-599-1500. You can also email them at foster@nyanimalrescue.org.
