A Walk Among the Tombstones, a movie adaptation of the Lawrence Block crime novel starring Liam Neeson, will be filming today around the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Beverley Road.

Neeson plays Matt Scudder, a former NYPD police officer, an unlicensed private detective, and a recovering alcoholic who is hired to find the kidnapped wife of a drug dealer.

The production crew looked at a lot of possible locations in our area, including 773 Lounge and Salud, so watch for a few familiar places when the movie comes out next year.
