9th Street C-Town Forced To Change New Awning
Now you see it, now you don’t. Just a couple of months after C-Town unveiled their revamped 9th Street Market, the store has torn down its fancy new black and green awning (seen below).
We previously noted that the design was suspiciously Union Market-ish, and apparently Union Market thought so, too, because a C-Town manager tells us that they threatened to sue if the store did not change the design.
“The same guy who designed the Union Market logo designed our new one,” the manger explained, “and he didn’t tell us they were so similar.”
Sounds like the C-Town staff doesn’t make their way down 7th Avenue very often. Here’s hoping they can find something a bit more original this time around.
