Whenever I see a psychic, they tell me I need to trust people. I tell them I’m a journalist, and they give me a refund.

But if you’re not a journalist and want to venture into the transmundane arts, Night Light Cafe on Sheepshead Bay Road is hosting a Psychic Fair this Sunday. Organized in part by tv psychic Janet Brennan, fair-goers receive free aura readings, palm readings, and face readings – not to mention “psychic gifts.” There will also be a guest lecture from Master Hypnotist Nicholas Rositano at 1 p.m. on Hypnosis and Emotional Freedom.

And we all know what washes down a good psychic projection, right? Ninety-nine cent cappuccinos! So stop by and support New York’s psychics – ’cause even they didn’t foresee this economic collapse.
