92-Year-Old Woman Struck And Killed By Car In Manhattan Beach

A 92-year-old woman died Saturday after being struck by a car in Manhattan Beach, according to police.

Cops say the collision occurred the previous afternoon, on Friday, October 23. The woman was crossing Oriental Boulevard when she was hit by a grey 2013 Buick making a left turn from West End Avenue. She suffered head trauma and was taken to Lutheran Hospital where she died the next day, according to authorities.

The NYPD says the driver remained on the scene and has not been charged. Police are investigating the crash.

The identity of the woman has not been released.
