We see-sawed back up in reported crimes Thanksgiving week compared to the week prior, with 22 total incidents in major crime categories, compared to last week’s 14 and the previous week’s 19. This was also a higher rate compared to this week last year, in all categories.

However, November crime in Fort Greene-Clinton Hill has basically the same numbers this year as last, and 2015 overall is apparently down from where it was this time in 2014.

The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting will be Tuesday, December 15 at 7pm, location TBD.

The next meeting of the Public Service Area 3 (housing police) is Wednesday, January 6, at 585 DeKalb Avenue.

CompStat reports are produced by the New York Police Department on a weekly basis. We publish the week’s statistics for the 88th Precinct reports every week. The 88th Precinct is the police command that oversees Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.
