There was no big change in crime between the week of December 14-20 compared to the previous week, with felony assaults ticking down 1 and grand larcenies dropping by 2 incidents, but robberies and auto thefts going a bit up. Overall, crime only went up by one incident. However, petit larcenies jumped up in this unseasonably warm week before Christmas.

The next meeting of the Public Service Area 3 (housing police) is Wednesday, January 6, at 585 DeKalb Avenue.

The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting will be Tuesday, January 19 at 7pm, location TBD.

CompStat reports are produced by the New York Police Department on a weekly basis. We publish the week’s statistics for the 88th Precinct reports every week. The 88th Precinct is the police command that oversees Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.
