88th Precinct Crime Statistics, Plus Don’t Miss Tonight’s Community Council Meeting

Compared to the last week of August, reported crime fell in the following categories:

  • burglary (from 3 to 2)
  • auto thefts (from 2 to 1)
  • transit (from 2 to 0)
  • petit larceny (from 13 to 9)
  • misdemeanor assault (from 8 to 7)
  • shootings (from 1 to 0)

Meanwhile, crime rose in these categories:

  • rape (from 0 to 1)
  • robbery (from 2 to 3)
  • felony assault (from 3 to 4)
  • grand larceny (from 2 to 5)
  • housing (from 2 to 3)

And these stayed the same:

  • misdemeanor assault (1)

The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting will be TONIGHT at 7pm at the Ingersoll Community Center (177 Myrtle Avenue).
