8-Year-Old Marine Park Boy Dies After Being Struck By Falling Flower Pot

An 8-year-old boy in Marine Park died last night after he was hit in the head by a falling flower pot, said cops.
Officers found Kevin Reilly unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to the head at 2224 Ryder Street near Avenue U, around 5:30pm on Thursday, April 27, said cops.
Reilly had been climbing up the walls of his home, when he offset the balancing flower pot, said cops.
Emergency workers rushed him to Coney Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing, said cops.
This morning, the home in Marine Park is reportedly still crowded with news cameras, according to some angry neighbors on twitter:
