7th Avenue Shop Lisa Polansky Closed, Space For Rent
The clothing and shoe store Lisa Polansky, located at 121 7th Avenue between Carroll and President, is now closed after 40 years in business.
Owner Lisa announced the impending closure this past fall, saying that, after so many decades, she was ready to move on to something new. Signs are currently hung in the windows reading, “Thank you Park Slope! We are closed.”
The 1,000-square-foot space is listed for rent, though the price is not noted — however, for comparison, the 800-square-foot space at 123A 7th Avenue that is on the very same block and is currently home to a Warren Lewis Sotheby’s office, is asking $12,500 per month.
