Get ready to raise your glasses to the return of one of our neighborhood’s favorite watering holes: 773 Lounge (773 Coney Island Avenue) will likely be back in September!

773 Lounge owners Margaret and Billy Cain let us know that they’re hoping to open the bar, which was devastated by a fire last November, in time for football season, as well as celebrate a grand opening that’s tentatively scheduled to coincide with the Flatbush Frolic.

As for what we can expect the bar to be like, Margaret and Billy said, “773 Lounge is approaching 50 years of serving our community, so expect more of the same.

“We are, and will continue to be, an Old Brooklyn sports bar & grill with classic rock ‘n roll in the jukebox, sports on over a dozen televisions and classic pub fare coming from the kitchen,” the owners continued. “We’ll be the first bar to open and the last bar to close each day.”

The Cains said they’re aiming to increase day traffic with “excellent wi-fi, lunch specials and the neighborhood’s best happy hour.”

The décor will remain similar to what 773 Lounge looked like before the fire “while accenting Old Brooklyn and sports,” the Cains told us.

Plus, there will be more seating and tables, the owners said.

The rebuilding comes after a huge push from neighbors to help the bar get back on its feet, including raising more than $30,000 at a fundraiser in January — and the owners said they are incredibly grateful for the community support.

“We are bursting with anticipation,” Margaret and Billy wrote. “Thank you and see you soon.”
