72 Year-Old Woman Beaten And Robbed
Police are looking for the man behind the robbery of a 72 year-old woman that took place last week on Tuesday, September 13.
The woman was standing at the corner of Avenue T and East 2 Street at around 11am when the suspect came up to her from behind and knocked her to the ground. He then punched her, giving her a laceration on the face, and took her purse, which contained $5,000, according to police.
A surveillance camera on the corner caught the suspect walking down the sidewalk. In one photo it seems he looks directly into the camera. He is shown wearing tan shorts, a dark sweater, and black socks.
