70th Precinct Releases Wanted Posters For Newkirk Avenue Arson & Church Avenue Armed Robbery
The 70th Precinct sent out wanted posters today for suspects in the arson at the Newkirk Medical Plaza (1414 Newkirk Plaza) and an armed robbery at Strictly Vegetarian (2268 Church Avenue).
The police last week released a video of the individual accused of throwing two Molotov cocktails into the Boro Park Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Newkirk Medical Plaza last week. According to the most recent poster put out by the NYPD, the suspect is a 40-year-old black man who is about 5-feet-10-inches tall. Anyone with information about this incident should call the police at 646-610-5430.
The second poster is for an armed robbery that occurred at Strictly Vegetarian around 9am on Tuesday, May 26. According to police, the suspect entered the restaurant and allegedly displayed a silver firearm, making off with an unidentified amount of cash. The NYPD described that suspect as a 20-year-old black man who is 5-feet-8-inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
