5th Avenue’s Associated Market Set To Open In December

Good news, South Slope! After about two years of construction, the seemingly eternal “coming soon” Associated Market is almost ready for its grand opening on 5th Avenue at 17th Street.

An employee for the store tells us that they’re finishing up some last minute details, stocking the shelves, and should be ready to open their doors in the next couple of weeks.

With Key Food’s continued absence and Eagle’s uncertain future, the market’s impending arrival is great news for this end of the neighborhood. We’ll keep an eye on the space, and update the site with an official opening date when it becomes available.
