5th Avenue Loses A Nail Salon

5th Avenue Loses A Nail Salon
h&l nail spa in park slope is closed

After several new nail salons openings in the past year, Park Slope may have reached the saturation point, as one of the existing salons has now closed.

H&L Nail Spa closed its space at 244A 5th Avenue, between President and Carroll, after about six years of offering manicures, pedicures, and more.

“Thank you for supporting us all these years…” reads a sign announcing the closure that is posted in the window.

If you had a loyalty card at H&L, they will be honoring them at their sister location across the street, Shanghai Spa, 241 5th Avenue.

It’s been a busy year for new nail salons in the area. First, back in June of 2014, Reedchy opened at 274 5th Avenue, followed by Bloomie at 435 5th Avenue and Nailbed at 317 Flatbush Avenue in July. More recently, Latoue Nail Spa II opened at 92 7th Avenue, and another nail salon is set to open soon directly across the street from Latoue.
