BUSHWICK – In Bushwick, it turns out you can rent yourself an ivory tower. Or at the very least, a really expensive brick one.

A record-setting rental for the North Brooklyn neighborhood was snapped up after spending just one day on the market, listed at a whopping $5,700 a month. Real estate agent Moin Siddiqui was the procuring agent on the deal.

The unit is perched in the clocktower of the St. Mark’s church from 1890, located at 618 Bushwick Avenue, at Jefferson Street. The beautiful brick church and attached school were gut-renovated to create a modern apartment building, The Saint Mark, where units start at $2,300, according to Nooklyn.

The Saint Marks is the very model of a modern luxury rental, with a rooftop deck, elevator and laundry on site. It’s located a mere block from the Myrtle Avenue JMZ stop.
