The SCO Family of Services foster care/child clinic space at 570 Fulton Street (between Flatbush and Rockwell Place, across from BAM Harvey) has officially been sold — to Slate Property Group for the development of a mixed-use building.

According to a report in the Commercial Observer, the $22.9 million sale will allow for funding of SCO programs in New York City and Long Island, according to Executive Director Douglas O’Dell, who also noted that the timing of the sale was intentional since we’re “in a strong real estate market in Brooklyn.”

SCO’s foster care and clinic services are now located at 224 Nevins Street in Downtown Brooklyn.

The deal for the three-story, 20,800-square-foot building closed on Sept. 18. . . The site boasts up to 86,300 buildable square foot for mixed-use development under the city’s inclusionary housing program, according to the listing by TerraCRG. Slate was not immediately available for comment.
