Are you guys ready for the holiday weekend? We can taste the barbecue and summer cocktails now! If you’re hanging around the Slope tomorrow, he’s a breakdown of what’s open, closed and running on a different schedule.

Government Offices, Parking, and Sanitation (via nyc.gov)

Government offices, courts, and Department of Motor Vehicle offices are closed Thursday, July 4 for Independence Day. There is no mail delivery and all library branches are closed.
Alternate side parking is suspended. You do not have to pay the parking meter. No stopping, no standing, and no parking regulations are suspended, except where those regulations are in effect anytime or seven days a week.
There is no garbage or recycling collection. If Thursday is your garbage day, put your garbage out after 5 PM Thursday evening.  If Thursday is your recycling day, wait until next week to put your recycling out.
