Man Breaks Into Bath Beach Apartment, Steals Money From Resident’s Pocket
The police have finally secured surveillance images of a man who broke into a Bath Beach apartment building back in November.
The suspect in question kicked in the door to an apartment building near Bay 17th Street and Bath Avenue on Saturday, November 12, just before midnight.
Once inside the apartment, the man stole $400 from the pocket of the male 59-year-old victim. The perp then took $200 from the top of a dresser before running out of the building through a stairwell. The victim, though shaken, was not injured.
The suspect has been identified by the NYPD as an unidentified 200lb black male, aged 25 to 35 years old and standing at 5’10” with a muscular build last seen wearing dark colored pants, jacket and a red baseball cap.
