40-Year-Old Found Dead With Gunshot Wound To Torso

BUSHWICK – A 40-year-old man was shot and killed over the weekend and the suspect is nowhere to be found.

On August 17th at around 9:15 p.m., cops were called to the crime scene at Halsey Street and Wilson Avenue. There, they found a man, whose name has not yet been released as they’re awaiting family notification, lying unconscious and unresponsive on the street. There was a gunshot wound to his torso. The man was taken to Wyckoff Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Cops say no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
