Jazz and classical concert

Where: Good Shepherd at 7420 4th Avenue
What: Jazz and classical streams interact in Charley Gerard’s unique musical vision. This concert will feature the world premier of “Viola in the Groove,” a suite of pieces he wrote for his daughter, violist Eva Gerard, who will be joined by Mr. Gerard and Jonathan Singer. The second half of the program consists of Mr. Gerard’s arrangements of Gershwin and Ellington songs performed by Charley Gerard and Aidan O’Donnell.
