NYC Parks have a number of recreational programs including summer camps. The website says the waitlist will be open in April which makes me think that they haven’t updated their summer camp page, yet. As soon as they do, available slots go quickly.

Camp Half-Blood is a different kind of performing arts camp. Demi-gods study archery, sword fighting, foraging and other skills needed to master their weekly quests. Greek myth is the overriding theme.

Full immersion is the way to learn a language. Native English speakers and native Spanish speakers explore traditional camp activities like cooking and gardening. But all communication will be done in Spanish. Spanish-as-a-2nd-language learners will become fluent in the language while native speakers will develop a more nuanced appreciation for their native tongue. Half-day and half-week camps are also available.
