Cops say that two bandits who robbed a livery cab driver at gunpoint in Coney Island last month are also responsible for sticking up another driver.

According to police, two suspects who fit the description of those involved in the first robbery, got into another cab days later near Bay Ridge Avenue and 4th Avenue. One of the men was armed with a gun, authorities say, and forced the driver to hand over his cell phone and an undetermined amount of cash. The two men fled from the car after the robbery, according to the NYPD.

On Wednesday, cops alerted the public to the first robbery, when the two suspects robbed a driver at gunpoint after being picked up in Midwood on December 6. After being driven to Surf Avenue and West 35th Street in Coney Island, one of the suspects allegedly drew a gun on the driver and stole his wallet with $160 in cash.

The NYPD released a surveillance video of the suspects. One is described as a white Hispanic, about five feet, ten inches tall, 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black Adidas hooded sweat suit and white sneakers.

Police described the other suspect as a dark-skinned man, about five feet, eight inches tall, 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a clack jacket, black shirt, light-colored pants, and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.
