Please join us in congratulating the PS/MS 282 Royal Panthers chess team, which had an amazing weekend at the 2014 National Elementary Championship in Dallas, TX. These kids are incredible, and once again they had a great run, including these stellar results:

  • 2nd in the country in K-3 U800
  • 8th in the country in K-5 U900
  • 5th in the country in K-6 U1000
  • 20th in K-1 Open
  • Masai Williams, 5th grader in K-6 U1000 section, went 6-1 and came in 3rd place individually in the nation!

We couldn’t be more proud, congrats Panthers!
