22 Caton Begins Leasing Units In Building With Pet Grooming, Gym & Yoga Room And More
After years of stalls and construction, 22 Caton just announced they are beginning to lease units in the 73-unit, seven-story building that’s situated on Caton Place, between Ocean Parkway and E. 8th Street.
Located by another recent major development, Kestrel, at 33 Caton Place, 22 Caton is offering units ranging from $1,778 for a studio to $4,531 for a three bedroom spot — a wider variety than what’s being offered at Kestrel now.
In comparison, Kestrel’s units that are currently listed vary in price from $3,138 for a one-bedroom to $4,015 for a two-bedroom.
Designed to be energy efficient, the building has earned a LEED Gold and NYSERDA Energy Star certification and has placed extra greenery around the area to address neighbors’ concerns about its impact on area infrastructure, particularly in light of flooding problems.
Like Kestrel, the locale’s packed with amenities, including an attended lobby, covered parking, bike storage, a gym and yoga room, a pet grooming room, a kids’ playroom, a resident lounge, a landscaped courtyard, a boule cart, private rooftop gardening, a furnished roof terrace with gas grills, and more.
We’d love to get your take on 22 Caton — what do you think of its rent prices? Is it a good addition to the neighborhood? A bad one? Something in between? Let us know in the comments below!
