The scaffolding and sidewalk shed have been removed from around 218 Greene Avenue (on the corner of Grand), revealing the final exterior design of the four-story, one family home. Some snooping also shows that the four bed, four and a half bath build is now for sale for $2.55M.

Corcoran’s Frank Castelluccio is repping 218 Greene, as he does for other properties by developer My Brooklyn Townhouse–including Boerum Hill’s similarly neo-traditional Four on Degraw. According to Corcoran’s listing, 218 Greene’s 12 rooms include details like Carrara marble, a gas fireplace, surround sound, central heating and AC, decorative ceilings, and “a full-height, windowed recreational area.” There’s also private parking and a deck off the master suite.

Work started on 218 late last year. According to real estate site Trulia, its asking price is 2% less than that of comparable homes, but 2% more than those homes’ average eventual sale price.

We’re especially interested to see what happens with 218 given Greene between Grand and Classon’s own recent restoration and development boom–a new three family build is going up at 266 Greene (next to the recently finished condos at 260-264; interiors and asking/sale prices here), and the foundation has recently been laid for the forthcoming two family build at 247 Greene Avenue while its long-vacant neighbor 245 Greene undergoes some much needed construction.

An open house is scheduled for the home this Sunday, September 28, from 1-2:30pm. What’s your take on 218’s look, and its price?
