Four different programs are held at Berkeley Carroll,including Curious Jane (see below). Among other things, campers will learn Spanish, arts, and toy building.

Brooklyn Botanical Garden

Offers half-day camps for little gardeners to get their hands dirty. Sign up for separate morning and afternoon sessions. Staff will oversee lunch. Registration is open.

Brooklyn Boulders

Campers will explore activities like top roping, slacklining, and bouldering. For breaks, there will be a few arts and crafts.

Brooklyn Design Lab

These studios run morning and afternoon sessions and are ideal for focusing on a specific fine arts talent. Artist work with professional grade material to create masterpieces out of clay or wood. They learn the art of bookmaking and printmaking.

Camp Olympia

Registration is open for this swimming and sports camp. Parents can get the deposit refunded if they change their mind before May 1. Bring a baseball glove and a water bottle.

Camp Half-Blood
339 MacDonough Street. Meets in Prospect Park.
Ages 6-12
Camp Half-Blood is a different kind of performing arts camp. Demi-gods study archery, sword fighting, foraging and other skills needed to master their weekly quests. Greek myth is the overriding theme.

Cirque D’Ete at Park Slope Day Camp

Want to run away and join the circus? Park Slope Day Camp teaches circum acrobatics, clown comedy, and set design in their Circus of the Summer program. The best part is, little performers don’t have to run away.

Curious Jane

Online registration is open for Curious Jane Jr and Curious Jane. What’s new is the Curious Jane sleepaway camp! Curious Jane operates out of three Brooklyn locations: Berkeley Carroll (701 Carroll St), the Brooklyn Free School (372 Clinton Ave), and the International School of Brooklyn (477 Court St.)

Juguemos a Cantar Summer Day Camp

For children between the ages of 3-10
Full immersion is the way to learn a language. Native English speakers and native Spanish speakers explore traditional camp activities like cooking and gardening. But all communication will be done in Spanish. Spanish-as-a-2nd-language learners will become fluent in the language while native speakers will develop a more nuanced appreciation for their native tongue. Half-day and half-week camps are also available.

Check out Park Slope Day Camp’s Sports Academy. Athletes gain self-confidence and learn teamwork through soccer. At the end of the season, the Sports Academy holds a World Cup! Flexible daily and weekly registration is available.

Join a  2- or 4-week summer workshop at Piper Theatre and you’ll be in for a memorable July. Swords, zombies, pirates, love beads, jealousy, Shakespeare, music, film and more, performed on our professional outdoor stage. This year Piper is joining hands with Off The Page so students can write the plays they will perform.
