The next round of “Destination > Brooklyn” grants has begun and applications for mini-grants of $1,500 are now available.

Funded by Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams and the NYC & Company Foundation through the Brooklyn Arts Council, the grants are awarded annually to Brooklyn nonprofits to help support “the creation, production, and distribution of print promotional materials that represent the organization’s artistic and cultural activities, with an emphasis on borough tourism.”

Last year, six groups in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill won awards: Elders Share the Arts, JACK, Make Music New York, NY Writers Coalition, Inc., Target Margin Theater, and The TEAM.

Applications are due soon, by next Thursday, July 16. Arts and culture groups that have an annual budget of under $500,000 are eligible.
