Information leading to the arrest and indictment of the man believed to be behind eight area home burglaries in two and a half weeks is now worth as much $2,000 to cops.

Crime Stoppers issued a wanted flier for the perp, touting the reward and citing just one of the eight incidents he is believed to be responsible for.

The one-man burglary spree began on March 25 and continued until April 10. Six of the incidents occurred on just two days, with the suspect entering homes through the side, rear or basement windows and stealing cash and electronics.

Many of the homes were in the Madison neighborhood surrounding James Madison High School. Another cluster was hit near Crawford Avenue and East 7th Street in Sheepshead Bay.

Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.
