A serial bank robber hit three banks in one week, including the Apple Savings Bank at 418 Myrtle Avenue, say police. The suspect is seen in the photos above wearing a blue poncho-type winter coat to obscure his face.

He allegedly began his spree on Monday, November 23 at around 3:53pm at a Capital One Bank at 70-01 Forest Avenue in Ridgewood, Queens, by passing a note demanding money to the female bank teller. He made off with $2,200 in cash when fleeing on foot.

The second robbery took place here in Fort Greene at 9:40am on Saturday, November 28, also by approaching a teller and demanding money — an as-yet-undetermined amount. No injuries were reported.

Then, yesterday morning (Monday, November 30) at 2:20pm, the man entered a Chase Bank at 819 Grand Street in Williamsburg, making off with an unknown amount of money from a teller.

Surveillance video shows the suspect as a black man standing around five-feet-nine-inches tall.
