10th Annual Soap Box Derby This Saturday

10th Annual Soap Box Derby This Saturday

SOUTH SLOPE  — Every year for the past ten years kids have been racing their homemade contraptions down 17th Street in Brooklyn as part of the Soap Box Derby organized by Koko Open Source, the education branch of Open Source Gallery.

The only thing needed to participate is a gravity controlled car. Every summer kids between the ages of 7 and 15 have been making their gravity controlled vehicles,  and will face off this Saturday, August 26th at noon in South Slope.
