10 Breaktaking Shots Of Last Night’s Double Rainbow From Our Readers

Following yesterday’s drizzling, the New York Tri-State Area was graced with the most magnificent, ethereal double rainbow ever.

At around 8:10pm, all over the city, traffic stopped and people got out of their cars to film the magical moment.

While there were sightings everywhere from Midtown, Manhattan to Teaneck, New Jersey, in Bensonhurst, the multicolored halo formed two perfect arcs across the neighborhood, vividly displaying every single shade, from red to violet.

Opposite the rainbow, was a transfixing sunset accompanied by fluffy golden clouds. Check out the panoramic video (above) of last night’s sky submitted by reader Chun Kit.

The last time a double rainbow was spotted over Bensonhurst, was almost exactly one year ago. And here’s more rainbow porn from 2012.
