It’s hard to find neighborhood arts and crafts stores in Brooklyn these days and Norma’s is to be treasured. This small business has a nicely curated selection of supplies for your artsy desires: yarn, beads, paint, canvas. They also host art classes, which is a nice activity for both kids and adults.

This place is a Classic! Whether you are looking for vintage toys, comics, records, or even things for the house, they even had WWI vintage items just recently! Most of the records are $3.00 and not the usual beat up, no name selections you see elsewhere. They’ve got old Madonna, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Blondie – and unlike many stores, they actually test and clean the records to ensure all records are playable.
Besides a great selection of records, there are some beautiful, hardcopy vintage children’s books for 50 cents a piece, and some vintage video games. The store also has a large selection of vintage home decor, Christmas decorations, cameras & cases, and jewelry.
