Five Teens Kick, Threaten, And Rob Couple On C Train
The NYPD are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the group of teens seen in the above surveillance video in connection to a robbery that occurred on a C train at the Franklin Avenue subway station on the border of Clinton Hill and Bed-Stuy.
At approximately 4:50am on Sunday, July 23, a group of five teenagers began making rude remarks at a couple on board a southbound C train, according to police. The suspects then kicked the victims, a 24-year-old female and 27-year-old male, and threatened to stab them, police say.
As the subway approached the Franklin Avenue station, one of the suspects grabbed the female victim’s purse before all five suspects exited the train and fled the station, the police report states.
The NYPD describes the five suspects as follows:
Individual 1: black male, approximately 17-19 years old, 5′ 10″, 150 pounds, with a short Afro. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans, and white sneakers.
Individual 2: black male, approximately 17-19 years old, 5′ 7″ to 5′ 9″, with a short Afro. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, and black and white sneakers.
Individual 3: black female, approximately 17-19 years old, 5′ 7″, 170 pounds, with thick red braids. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers.
Individual 4: black female, approximately 17-19 years old, 5′ 7″, 140 pounds, with a black pony tail. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers.
Individual 5: black female, approximately 17-19 years old, 5′ 7″, 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing a multi-colored t-shirt and shorts.
