Why We Love Our Neighbors: Lost Keys

One of our favorite things about Ditmas Park, a thing that we don’t see so much in other parts of the city, is the attempt to return lost keys to their owners by attaching them to something at eye level, in case the owner passes by the same spot again.

The top photo is of a set of keys taped to a fire alarm call box on Marlborough Road spotted today, so if those are your keys, that’s where they are right now. The other photos are past examples that we’ve seen around the neighborhood.

Have any of you ever been reunited with your lost keys in this way?
