Where to Find Fall Treats

As kids in the neighborhood get ready to enjoy all the sweets that the parades and trick-or-treating have in store for them, what kinds of treats are popping up in local shops that even big kids can enjoy?

Tucked between the cannolis, Catskill Bagels has Jack-o-lantern cupcakes.

Lark just changed up their Blue Marble ice cream menu to include a new fall flavor, pumpkin, which kind of tastes like a frozen version of pumpkin pie.

And over at Cafe Madeline, they’ve got some zombified chocolate chip cookies. They taste just like regular chocolate chip cookies, but they’ve got a more festive label.

What other fall-inspired foods – from pumpkin muffins to pumpkin ale, apple everything, etc. – have you seen starting to show up on menus in the neighborhood, and what are you most looking forward to that hasn’t been available since last year?
