Traffic Light at Ditmas/Westminster Will Be Working by Tuesday

The new traffic light coming to the corner of Ditmas Avenue and Westminster Road should be working by Tuesday, the crew on the scene told us today. They said it would have been Monday, but the holiday will push it to the following day.

The installation started at the end of January, just days after a new signal was placed at the intersection of Cortelyou and Westminster. Unfortunately, however, this new light didn’t come soon enough to potentially prevent a two-car collision that occurred here just last week.
