‘They Came Together’ Filming on Ditmas Ave
The David Wain/Michael Showalter comedy They Came Together is shooting today in a house on Ditmas Ave at Rugby Road. The movie stars Amy Poehler as a small business owner about to lose her shop to a big corporate businessman, played by Paul Rudd, who I spotted playfully teasing a kid on the porch of the house.
This is the film that recently inspired one Paul Rudd fan to leave the actor a letter about how he wants to get into the entertainment business, and how he hoped Rudd might be interested in helping him out.
This marks Rudd’s second movie to have filmed in the neighborhood in recent months. Admission, co-starring Tiny Fey, was shot on East 18th Street, which was standing in for Princeton, NJ.
