There Are the Bike Share Stations… And Way Out There, There’s Us

No big surprise, but our neighborhood will not be one of the first to have access to the city’s new bike share program. As the Friends of Ocean Parkway heard from the DOT this week, “for the initial phase of bike share there will not be any stations in Brooklyn CB’s 12, 14, or 15.”

A bit more of a surprise is that there won’t be any stations at Prospect Park–at least initially. Brokleyn spoke to the DOT yesterday, who said they’d be expanding the program down the road, just not this year.
