Still Time To Apply For The Brooklyn Prospect Lottery
Brooklyn Prospect Charter School

There is good news for parents of 5th and 8th graders: Brooklyn Prospect Charter is still accepting names for their middle and high school lotteries.

The Brooklyn Prospect application process is outside of the regular Board of Education application process. Prospective 6th and 9th graders can sign up for the Brooklyn Prospect lottery before April 1. The lottery will be held later in April at the Brooklyn Prospect main campus (3002 Fort Hamilton Parkway.)

Linda Shum, the Development & Communications Coordinator at Brooklyn Prospect, advocates for the neighborhood school:

At Brooklyn Prospect, we have set out to provide a modern, rigorous, and globally-minded curriculum, tailored around the prestigious International Baccalaureate Program and designed to serve a diverse student population. Here, students are able to participate in a rich learning environment with a curriculum developed to provide an international viewpoint and a commitment to prepare students to thrive in a global, twenty-first century community.

If you’re interested in sending your child to Brooklyn Prospect, upcoming middle and high school information nights that still have spots are listed below.

High School Information Night #2 – Monday, January 27

Middle School Information Night #3 – Monday, March 3

Registration is required. Seating is limited. The information nights do fill up, so if you’re interested, register as soon as possible.

If there are any parents (or students) who are currently at Brooklyn Prospect, how do you like it? Anything you can share with prospective families in the comments would be much appreciated!
