If you’ve never had whoopie pie, it’s basically a cake with frosting on the inside, and this version has all the wonderful spice, plus some actual pumpkin flavor, that makes you feel warm even on a very cold day. It’s sweet without being cloying, and is the kind of sticky, cakey mess that will have you licking your fingers to get every last bit of your $3’s worth.
