Starting today, September 19, King David Tacos will serve its Austin-style breakfast tacos seven days a week at Grand Army Plaza. The mobile cart will operate year-round (Monday-Friday from 7am to 11am and Saturday-Sunday from 7am to 12pm) serving up three signature tacos made fresh each morning including the BPEC (bacon, potato, egg, and cheese), Queen Bean (refried beans, potato, egg, and cheese), and Or’izo (Mexican chorizo, potato, egg, and cheese), along with seasonal sides and gluten-free options.

In the coming weeks, Anton’s Dumplings and Carpe Donut NYC will also roll in and set up shop at Prospect Park.

Anton’s Dumplings will be situated at 9th Street and Prospect Park West, Wednesday through Monday from 11am to 11pm. The food truck will offer pelmeni, Russian dumplings, in three varieties—potato, chicken, and Siberian, accompanied by toppings such as soy sauce, Sriacha, and smoked Gouda fondue.

On weekends, visitors will find Carpe Donut NYC at the Vanderbilt Loop on Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 4pm. The donut truck will offer fresh, hot, handmade donuts made from organic and locally-sourced ingredients. Try their FroDo before the temperatures drop even more—a donut ice cream sandwich filled with vanilla ice cream by Blue Marble.

Additionally, the Prospect Park Alliance noted that Mohammed Islam will introduce a second hot dog cart at Lincoln Road and Ocean Avenue. His first cart is located at the Long Meadow Ball Fields.
