Police Searching For Woman Accused Of Punching Subway Rider Near The Church Avenue B/Q Station
The NYPD is asking the public to help them find a suspect who they say punched a woman on the subway near the Church Avenue B/Q station on May 23.
According to police, the 34-year-old victim was riding the subway around 10:30pm on May 23 when she and another woman began arguing after the two bumped into each other on the train. The verbal argument escalated into the suspect allegedly punching the victim, causing the woman’s head to strike a pole, the NYPD said. The suspect then allegedly pushed the victim off the train, cops said.
The victim refused medical treatment at the scene.
