Police Looking For This Man In Friday’s Racist Flatbush Attack

FLATBUSH – The New York City Police Department wants your help in identifying a white man in his 30’s who attacked a middle aged woman last Friday, November 9, on her way out of the Church Avenue B/Q stop.

Last Friday, around 7:30pm, Ann Marie Washington (57) was approached by a man unknown to her from behind, who proceeded to make derogatory anti-black statement, punched her and left her with a puncture wound that landed her at the Kings County Hospital for treatment. She is listed in stable condition. The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.

Yesterday, neighbors rallied at the train stop, expressing concern over the deterioration in public discourse and how that seems to be feeding the increase in hate crimes in the neighborhood.
